Just before leaving Granny and Grandad's house, the girls got in their last baking session with Granny (at least for a while, anyway). They made delicious bread rolls together.
Princess Pea helped Grandad with the measuring and pouring to make the dough early in the morning (this was their usual early birds ritual while we were there). After it had risen, the girls both helped Granny to 'knead' the dough and shape it into rolls.
Lots of squashing...
pinching...
and pressing later...
they finally formed them into rolls (more or less).
"WAIT!!"
"Let me just get in one final poke!"
